A Model Spin:
From day one, our goal with the design of this stunning model home was to create an unexpected, eco-eclectic space – the antithesis of the typical model home. Our focus was not only to showcase the view from the floor to ceiling windows, but to “go green” – reusing vintage pieces, displaying products with a local, organic or sustainable spin, and illustrate the art of blending the new with the old, always keeping scale, color and function in mind.The challenge – take the myriad of elements provided and create a space that spoke our vision. Local artists and vendors are represented around every corner – from vintage furniture dealers, custom furniture makers, organic textile design and “green” upholstery, to fine local artists and talented retailers who gladly shared pieces that they had on hand. The result – a space to breathe, relax and remember that no matter your style, your home should reflect you – and be beautiful.
