Forest Heights for Four:

When Jeff and Jen relocated with their young girls from a their first house in Raleigh Hills to their dream home in Forest Heights, they wanted an updated, mature interior design that fit with the style of their stately new home. Like most new homeowners, they were itching to get the job done – completely furnish a formal living and dining room, master bedroom, media room and family room – quickly, and on a budget. When time is of the essence, retail or in-stock purchasing is often the most effective route.

We set the stage, covering boring white walls with warm, better-than-beige paint colors in every room in the house, then teamed custom furniture pieces with select furnishings from top local retailers. Artwork and accessories, lamps and area rugs were thoughtfully selected, and the homeowner’s treasured pieces were placed strategically around the house to tie the new with the familiar.

“(Amy) immediately went to work creating a wonderful color palette for our walls, blending the right combination to exude a sense of welcome and warmth. Wow, what a transformation! Amy’s ability to give honest opinions and feedback, as well as keeping the lines of communication open was refreshing. She let us know what she thought would work; always giving us a few different options and designs. We highly recommend Amy to anyone looking to work with a talented interior designer with a great personality
